The reason the preparations are on the market is that they are very safe
(except for any potential allergic reaction) because they work mainly on the
top layers of the skin and are not absorbed systemically.  If they were
absorbed systemically, they would not be on the market for use.
Thus, breastfeeding should be safe and compatible with the use of these
products as long as they are not used on the breast area.
