In your NICUs, do you feed your premies (by gavage, bottle, whatever method)
the freshest pumped milk or use up all the colostrum first?
If you are colostrum-til-it's-gone believers, why? How do you decide when to
switch to freshly pumped milk?
Would you choose frozen colostrum over fresh currently- pumped milk?
(Assuming here that the mother is pumping more milk per day than her infant
can take in.)
Thanks for sharing your insights-
Susan
