This could be a continuation of the previous post on deep breast pain.
One of the side effects, rare, if the gentian violet is used properly,
is mouth ulcers in the baby. Thrush does not cause bleeding and it does
not cause raised blisters in the mouth. If the blisters were there
before the gentian violet this baby does not have thrush, or two things.
Maybe herpangina. If the ulcers are due to the gentian violet, stopping
the gentian violet for a day will allow the ulcers to heal.
