Ladies,
How do you screen your calls? I am really good at not giving away free
advice for the mom who calls up looking for that free advice. I try to see
her needs and either get her to make an appointment with me or I suggest
she call Le Leche League or go to a breastfeeding clinic in the area if she
has financial issues. I do have a problem with existing clients setting
boundaries. I offer 2 calls maximum for every visit I have with them in
person and I get really uncomfortable with people that I spend one hour
feel that they can call and call for every little thing after we meet. Any
of you have the same issues? I will be happy to spend as much time with
them as they need but my time is so limited with so many other business
projects I am apart of and I feel my time and information is so valuable.
Yet I don't want to sound insensitive. Any thoughts or things you have
found helpful in your own practice?
Thanks!!
