The policy recommendation on SIDS, states:
"For breastfed infants, pacifiers should be introduced after
breastfeeding has been well established. 
 
...it is recommended that pacifier introduction for breastfed infants be
delayed until one month of age to ensure that breastfeeding is firmly
established."
