I too was one of those that became nauseated and vomitted while bf. Early on
it was bad, but it soon improved. I still get a little sick feeling on occasionwhen my 1 yr old nurses. I didn't know why except quite by coincidence
I had a Blood pressure monitor on myself when my hubby brought my baby in
to bf. I am horribly hypertensive, and we were trying to get our BP
machine to interfase with our monitor so I was the guiney pig. I was
amazed (and pleased) to see that my BP actually decreased by about
20 mm/hg systolic and 15 mm/hg diastolic during letdowns. Perhaps
this effect is more profound early on and that is what caused the
nausea. What do you all think.

Becky Behre, RNC still waiting for LC results.
