(1) Whoa Up! My ethical/legal niche in Lactation Land just got rocked.
IBLCE announced today (30 Dec 2015) a change to one element of our
mandatory IBLCE Code of Professional Conduct.

Nice one, too, expanding and making more inclusive the language of 6.3, to
now read:

"Treat all clients equitably without regard to ability/disability, gender
identity, sexual orientation, sex, ethnicity, race, national origin,
political persuasion, marital status, geographic location, religion,
socioeconomic status, age, within the legal framework of the respective
geo-political region or setting."

(2) If you are active on social media ... go read the new Advisory Opinion
from IBLCE (only the second they have issued in their history) on
"Professionalism in the Social Media Age." It was issued today (30 Dec
2015), via link in their newsletter to certificants. I give this one a
thumbs up.
