This is one of those verbal orders that seeps into the system with no
citations, no elaboration or explanation: don't give toradol to
breastfeeding moms OR if you are breastfeeding and had toradol, you cannot
breastfeed. The claim: it may cause brain bleeds in baby.
Yes, we searched Hale's M&MM - no indication of a problem for baby.
The alternatives are in the same drug class as toradol.
We are trying to clarify this or get it in writing or find out their
evidence, but the origin has been hard to pin down.
Anyone have any idea of the truth of it?
