I am thinking that as a practitioner, I would not recommend that anyone use
vit E oil even if they wipe it off, etc. If they do not, (people follow
instructions differently, and who knows how well they do this, if it causes
further abrasion, etc)...then I am liable, I believe.
I also do not know of any hard evidence that states that Vit E is effective
to heal sore nipples. As Linda Smith says, correctly, either the problem is
mechanical, most likely in the early days, or bacterial/fungal, and we'd
hate to miss the true solution to these problems.
