In Dutch traditional medicine fennel is used as an anti-colic tea for infants
and anise (which is closely related to fennel) as a galactogogue. They can
both be found in mother's milk teas, along with nettle and some aromatic
herbs. Mom can use the seed of fennel and anise (may be crushed) and the
dried leaves of mettles, 1 tablespoon (of one herb or of the combined herbs
together) per cup of boiling water, leave for 5-1 minutes and then drinke. Up
to 3-5 cups a day.

Warmly greeting,

Gonneke
