Anne:  I would be VERY worried about this baby!  Did you speak to the peds
about your assessment of the situation?  This would certainly warrant a call
to them.  And for the baby:  FEED THE BABY in whatever manner (SNS?).

Chanita:  The homebirth midwife I saw with my 6th pregnancy (after 5
pregnancies spent living by the toilet & several hospitalizations)
recommended 2 things that really helped:  Gatorade (for electrolytes) &
those diet drinks we used to replace meals.  I know they are simply an adult
version of artifical infant feeding, but they really helped by staying down
when little else would and they kept my nutrient intake up there.  She
wasn't really into much herbals for this condition.

Jane:  Thanks for posting on high palate - it was timely for a baby being
followed by one of the IBCLC's where I work.  Does anyone have any good info
for artificially feeding a baby with a high palate?  This baby is 4 months
old and mother will NOT consider a return to bfing - weaned at 1 month :(
The haberman sounds like a possibility.
