Dear Lactnetters,

I have been asked by a friend to find an LC or a doctor who is pretty
experienced in helping diabetic breastfeeding mothers. Northeastern Ohio
area. (She lives in Canton, OH). She would even be intersted in speaking or
writing to someone out of the area to learn more.  She is considering having
a second child and did breastfeed her first son, for almost 2 years.  She
had to finally be put on Glucophage and had to wean.

Yes, we know that her diabetes was pretty much under control for a long
time, while breastfeeding, but slowly got worse. She has done much reading
and searching on the subject, but also feels her health has not been the
best.  She also has a polycystic ovary condition.
