Karen - and all,

Since when do stories and humor and collecting information on what a child
calls breastfeeding make us unprofessional? I would hate to think that we
have to be somber and speak of only one thing and one thing only to be
considered professional. That truly is a sad commentary on the state of
events. Though I will admit that there are some groups in which I have been
involved that find anything beyond BUSINESS unprofessional.

It's too bad.

If what we are doing on lactnet qualifies us as unprofessional, so does the
inside of an operating room, a delivery room, and about any other area of the
hospital I can think of.
