I have been back on Lactnet for several days and am pleased to see it is still the same community of respectful, caring people. It is still a useful resource for locating specific information or exploring how best to help a mother and baby dyad with challenges. On my recent visit I have noticed that this list also continues to be a place for debriefing after an encounter with inaccurate advice in the workplace, and a place for alerting others to somethng that needs correcting in the media. In a world that is far from ideal, we still need our Lactnet.

Thank you to all the Lactnetters who came up to me and spoke to me at the VELB/ILCA conference recently. I was amazed that people from around the world knew my name from Lactnet.

Tonight I am going "nomail" again, because of my other commitments. Bye-bye for now. I shall be back.
