  antibiotics in general ( i was unable to locate the one you asked about..
possibly tom hale will)  can cause a change in the gi flora.. this is rather
across the board... and as with any med. one person/infant may be affected
more than another....

   hiv: i have not followed this recently as i did in the past but my recall
is that the transmission may be during pregnancy... i vaguely recall the idea
of looking at c/s as a reduction but do not recall that there was conclusive
evidence of its sucess.

    the "proven" breastmilk" transfer cases all were when the mother was
either newly infected and highly veremic or she was very ill and highly
veremic.
