We have an expanding population of immigrant breastfeeding mothers of US
citizen children, who may be instructed by the immigration service to leave
the US. These mothers may not have visas, but fathers might have them.Do US
citizen infants have a right to be breastfed? Are there legal resources for
mothers who want to stay in the US under these circumstances? Does anyone
know what's going on in these situations? I just found out about this, but
it must be increasingly common. Are there lawyers who specialize in
breastfeeding law? Is the popular perception of breastfeeding changing
enough to support this? Judy
