Hi All
There is a small study on breastfeeding after reduction.
<www.cosmetic-center.com/html/faqs/faq12.html>
I like to warn the mothers I see.It's obviously important to be positive & I can
understand where Karleen is coming from.Some are so eaily discouraged,but
maybe they would of given up anyway.Lots dont want to use a supply line & I
find babies who bottle feed dont like to suck on a near empty breast.They
need to be committed & well supported.I work in a large public hospital in
Sydney as a lactation consultant.I've only had a couple in 15 years that have
had enough to fully breastfeed.That isnt reason enough to give up in my
book,but it often is in theirs.They dont get the support they need though.It's
an either/or mentality.There's alot more to brestfeeding than the milk as we
know.
