I am looking for information about this parasite and medications that would be
given to a mother postpartum who has been diagnosed with this parasite.  At the
moment,  I am have not been able to find out what this doctor intends to treat
her with but he did say that breastfeeding would not be a good option (if I
only had a nickel for every time I have heard that). It is my understanding
that this parasite is rare in the United States and this mom is also involved
with the CDC at this point.  I hope to gain more information from her in the
future but would appreciate any insight others may have.
