Just a quick thought before I go out the door to the busiest of days at  work.
Jamison my 17 month old granddaughter whose Mom Carrie is like so into this  
attachment mothering it makes me blush with pride. Has not given this baby any 
 formula, iron, vitamins or flouride supplements.  Jamie is eating and  
nursing at leisure.  She takes bites of things I never fed her Mom, like  mango and 
guava.  She may be getting her flouride from the water she drinks  from my 
tap when she has her bottle with a straw as a opposed to a sippy  cup.
But at home she drinks filtered water.  
Her pedi is big time breastfeeding support doc and seems pleased with all  
her progress. She is currently healthiest (knock wood) thought she isn't  
interested in standing and walking like the others...she does stand and she  cruises 
and pushes her doll baby carriage but like her Mommy is happy playing  and 
seeing the world from up high or down low and climbs like a mountain  goat.  
So let this Mom decide how she will proceed.  She and only she if  given 
right information will make her right choice.
