In the Southeastern USA, one will often hear titty or tit used to refer to
the breast. A mother will ask, "so if he cries, just give him the titty?" or
you'll hear "I was a titty baby" or "my tits are leaking" etc. To me, this
is a very slang word, and not used in polite company, but to my clients, it
seems a cultural thing and not meant in any rude way. By the way, my
daughter called it "nummies" or "num num" and she came up with that, it was
not a code word.
