Is there any reason to believe there is a single common set of cultural
beliefs to the 'African-American population' ?

What, for example, are the cultural beliefs of the 'Anglo-American
population'?

Age, education, geographic region, religion are all likely to play a role
too, likely at least as great a role as such broadly generalized ethnicity.
