Once again...
Why should this mother wean if she doesn't want to? Who is this
nutritionist who is ordering her around? It is not better if a
physician does it either, by the way (I can just see the messages
flying).
If this mother was controlled with a 2000 calorie diet during the
first pregnancy, does anyone want to tell me why this would be
inappropriate now? Actually, with the baby nursing she might be
controlled by a 2500 calorie diet. (Since mothers are said to need 500
extra calories/day to breastfeeding, which I don't believe).
