Karen-
Items you might add:

-Bag of generic frozen peas as a cold compress; molds to breasts nicely,
doesn't melt, is re-freezeable
-Inverted cut-off syringe for pulling out inverted or flat nipples
-Rolled washcloth to prop/support large breasts
-Fabric to make supportive sling for large breasts (I've never tried
this, but some women find it helpful)
-Homemade saline solution to soak sore or caked nipples (give recipe)
-Cut up kotex or cloth diapers for super-leaking nipples
-Vinegar water for nipple yeast (give recipe)
-Boxes, step stool or other substitutes for nursing stool
-Homemade breastfeeding pillow- use a soft bed pillow or other, and add
velcro straps to hold around mom (a client just showed me one that her
Physician's Assistant husband just created for her cheaply)
-"Nursing top" made from a regular top with seams partially ripped open
and replaced by snaps, velcro or zippers

Hey, I like this idea! It would make a great handout-- "Cheap Aides for
Breastfeeding Mothers"

You could call it the "Cheap Cheap" box (hey, I'm not very good at
thinking up witty titles, sorry!)
