 Dear Marian,

I got this sort of 3rd or 4th hand, so my info is sketchy. I believe
they felt the minor seizure activity was related to the low blood sugar.

The reference about 5 feeds a day was only for the first 24 hours and
was "at least 5 feeds the first 24 hours". I think it is too late for
that to happen, as they have been separated since the baby was
transferred. I recommended that the mom get the hospital lactation
consultant  involved right now if she plans to breast feed (and if the
hospital has one)
