Freestyles are great for people with a well-established milk supply, healthy nursing baby and a particular need for a battery operated dual phase pump... For people with low supply, baby not nursing well etc or needing to pump more than 3-4 times a day, not so good. I can only speak from experience but a Symphony pump works better than any other for pulling up a low supply but if not available, I would use a PNS over a piston pump that can't do the little pause in the cycle like the pns and the symphony have. JMHO. This has been verified to me by clients and family members (who aren't afraid to tell the truth lol!)

We've had several patients who have really had difficulty pumping their milk with this pump. They've been able to pump more milk with a regular pump in style (and of course even more with a hospital grade pump) I wondered if anyone else has seen this?

Thanks,
