My hospital is redesigning the mother baby unit. I would like to get in
touch with someone who has recently designed a unit that is conducive to
baby friendly. This might include cosleepers, large sinks for immersion
bath, a procedure room as opposed to a nursery, and a charge system for
formula. We are looking towards becoming baby friendly, but have a ways
to go. Has anyone been apart of a design team that has designed their
physical unit to be conducive to mothers and newborns needs? Or does
anyone know where I might go for tips?

Thanks,

Mary Westra RN, IBCLC
