This is the same approach that a Japanese dr has been using for a long time
with excellent results.  Basically he says you WILL pump and your baby WILL
get your milk while in my hospital! His level 3 hosp   has lowest infant
mortality rate in a country with the lowest infant mortality in the world!
I heard him years ago at LLLI conf.

The key is the institutional support for this plan!  My research from
several years ago indicated that supportive hospital practices enabled the
nurse to support BF.
