Subject: Remove Contact info from Lactation Consultant page
To: [log in to unmask],

Dear Ms. Bialek,

Please immediately remove my contact information from the Munchkin Latch
Locator. As well as my partner's and employee's information. I own
**************. Remove information for : *******, *********, and *******.

To become a lactation consultant is a stringent process. We agree to
uphold a code of ethics, which includes not violatining the international
WHO Code on marketing of breastmilk substitutes. This includes teats and
bottles. Every lactation consultant listed on the Munchkin latch website
has now had their ethics compromised. No matter how many disclaimers are
made by Munchkin, the company you represent has compromised each of our
personal codes of conduct by implicit support of Munchkin feeding products.
I am aware this information is available on our professional association's
website: http://www.ilca.org/ . I am certain they would not have allowed
use of this information, had permission been requested. I would highly
encourage you to remove all IBCLC's personal and professional information
from the website, immediately.

From a practical standpoint, I can't imagine this listing, providing many
referrals to most IBCLCs. We work closely with OBGYNs, Pediatricians,
insurance companies. We receive much of our clientele by word of mouth and
reputation. Our names, skills, experience, and reputation are everything
in this profession and I do not appreciate use of my name as a marketing
tactic for another business, without permission or disclosure. None of my
clients have sought out a lactation consultant from a corporate feeding
product website. Instead they seek help from other venues for
breastfeeding. It seems the only entity in this unbalanced "relationship"
to benefit from listing IBCLCs is Munchkin.

Sincerely,

*************, IBCLC
