This couple is having a lot of difficulties.  I have her permission to send
her letter to the list and you may email her privately if you have some quick
advice.  I really feel she has Reynauld's.  Cold just kills her nipples.  She
has not been back to me in ages so I am sure her supply is very comprimised.

Hi Pam

Do you remember us?

It is still very hard to breastfeed, but I am still trying.

We tried to talk to Robyn, we wrote her an e-mail, but she never answered.
We sought for an acupuncturist but we couldn't find any who treats problems
like sore nipples.

As the pain was very hard to cope with, we started with formula and I
started to pump just when my breasts were very, very sore. Even the pump was
hurting me.

And little by little my breasts got a bit better I stardt to breastfeed
again. Today I can breastfeed during the day and at night I give Pedro 2
formulas. Sometimes I  feel like crying, my nipples are still cracked and
sore.

My midwife wants me to take birth-control pill because I am not healing from
the stiches yet, She said I have hard spots inside my vagina and I need to
take an hormone that is found in contraceptive pills. The name of the pill
is Loestrin Fe.

I am very comfused about that. She also said the my milk is going to dry up,
but I need this kind of medicine. I don't know what to do.

Do you have a piece of advice to give me? I would be glad to hear something
from you.
