I do not understand how these outcomes are so different from:

BMJ 1999;319:815-819 ( 25 September )

"Association between breast feeding and asthma in 6 year old children: findings of
a prospective birth cohort study "

H Oddy, senior research officer a, P G Holt, National Health and Medical Research
Council senior principal research fellow a, P D Sly, National Health and Medical
Research Council principal research fellow a, A W Read, senior research officer
a, L I Landau, professor b, F J Stanley, professor c, G E Kendall, study
coordinator c, P R Burton, head d.

Conclusion: A significant reduction in the risk of childhood asthma at age 6 years
occurs if
exclusive breast feeding is continued for at least the 4 months after birth. These
findings are important for our understanding of the cause of childhood asthma and
suggest that public health interventions to optimise breast feeding may help to
reduce the community burden of childhood asthma and its associated traits.

Maybe the sponsorshop by Nestle have made some difference? Or maybe the following
may be the culprit (citation from the above article):

"Parental history of asthma was used as a potential binary confounder, but it was
only used in secondary (exploratory) analysis because family history may in part
reflect the action of the causal pathway of interest, and naive adjustment could
be misleading. "
