In the case posted about the mother whose doctor was concerned about fatal
hemorrhage resulting from breastfeeding, I believe the original post
contained information about the mother's very very low blood counts.  A
viral infection had wiped out her bone marrow.  Her platelets were
apparently so low as to place her at risk for spontaneous life-threatening
hemorrhage.  If her blood counts are rock-bottom this could be a real
concern.
