6.3 on day 3 is pretty much a nothing, what is this guy's problem?  It is 
contrary to all generally accepted routines and protocols for jaundice 
:-(  However I must qualify  my remarks by saying that a nursery nurse told 
me the other day that she wishes all the practices treated jaundice like we 
do :-)  We just don't fall for the hype, follow the graphs and nurse lots, 
supplement sometimes a little.  Keep an eye on whats going on for ins and 
outs, wt gain or loss etc.
BTW: had a breastfed baby actually begin gaining before he went home the 
other day (4 days C-sec) had  gained 2 oz over birth wt!   Pat in SNJ
