This is precisely what my son's allergist told us. In fact, he said that
children who are exposed to animals from birth are *less* likely to develop
allergies to them. We didn't discuss the role of breastfeeding though, so I
guess I'm driftig OT here. I will have to ask him about that next time. :-)
