My thoughts exactly - this was just what happened with my son's tongue 
tie.  I should think undiagnosed tongue tie would be the most likely 
cause here, but there are probably lots of other possibilities I'm not 
aware of.  I'll look forward to hearing the outcome of the situation 
with the LC.

The pediatrician's attitude strikes me as frightening and dangerous.  As 
I understand it, one of the official bodies (I think it's the RCPCH in 
the UK) now recommends dropping the weight checks between 2 and 8 weeks 
as unnecessary.  This is the perfect example of why I'm concerned about 
that.
