I was asked this week to provide breastfeeding resources for an innovative
program for local medical students. Apparently as part of their
paediatric training they have to follow a child from birth to 5 years and
write regular reports. The person who contacted me is putting together
an internet resource for them to access as background educational material
during the 5 years. Not sure yet if this will be restricted internet
access or available on the web if one knows where to look. Will let you
know.

I will also be providing suggested links to quality BF information sites
on the web. I know the mainstream sites, but any other suggestions?

Apparently they are having some trouble finding mothers willing to
participate, so Nursing Mothers has offered to help with this among our
members. Of course this means that the med students would be following
breastfeeding mothers - and often (very) long-term breastfeeding. What a
wonderful opportunity to influence these future doctors!
