I can't answer your questions but I know Nurture III has GREAT customer
service. I lost a part and called their 800 number, and the company
sent me new parts, suggested new tubing would help suction, I can't
recall what else, but the price for all of it was really reasonable, the
service was great, the person to whom I spoke knew a great deal about
pumping and the pump itself, I didn't feel as though I was forced to buy
anything, but that instead they just wanted me to be successful at
breastfeeding and pumping. They also sent it 2nd day mail so I got the
parts I needed by Monday when I needed to pump again. It was a long
time ago but the fact I still remember the service tells me something.
I would call them and ask them your questions.
