Dear Friends,

THANK YOU so much for signing the petition (link below, in case you missed it). Your signatures have been coming in from all over the world. Since 3 days ago, when the petition was started, almost 300 people have signed and many people have left comments about Nestlé's unethical marketing practices and how mothers and babies are the ones to suffer when Nestle is involved.

Check out the petition site every few days. Maria Parlapiano, (New Jersey, USA) coordinator, posts updates. We can all learn from what she is doing. She is planning to meet with the Mayor of Newark who accepted $100,000.00 from Nestle and agreed to the ongoing Newark/Nestle campaign. Maria hopes to convince him that what he wants to do is admirable and doable but with community support instead of Nestlé's. Maria has also posted some addresses if you want to do further letter writing.

We especially need to get the message of the petition to Asia and other emerging markets as the formula companies are targeting these area as "the hot spot" to increase profits (dramatically) for 2012.

I really feel the strength of an international cry to STOP NESTLE (hope you are too) and am loving the personal little emails that are coming my way.

Renee, Vancouver, Canada

Help protect our babies from Nestle. This is an easy one - just a petition to sign to stop Nestle. What Nestle is planning in Newark (largest city in New Jersey, USA) is just the beginning of what Nestle plans to do in other cities. STOP Nestle.

Our children are everyone's issue. Please sign petition (below) and forward link to your family, friends and other networks.
