Maureen Minchin asked about the seedy nipples so I'll give an update. When I
received the call from the hospital this was how it was discribed to me. I'm
not sure if this nurse had read this anywhere but when I saw them myself on
Monday I would describe it more like caking discharge. The mom said that she
has this even when she is not pregnant. By the way, she is caucasion. It
wasn't like the dark pigment I have seen with darker women. Even her
dermatologist did not give her a medical name She had already been scraping
them off somewhat herself. I had her do some warm saline soaking and I could
fairly easily remove the rest myself. But the baby of this mom unfortunately
was transferred for further investigation, for an enlarged liver and some
blood chemestry that was out of wack so I could not follow her. I will
continue to ask her family Dr. for an update.
