I like this article, as it indicates not only that good training of
healthcare professionals works to raise initiation and discharge
rates of bf, but that rates are also significantly higher 3 months
and 6 months later.

This counteracts the idea that hospital-based initiatives only
succeed in 'forcing' women to bf, and that they can't wait to get
home to formula feed instead....

...which is something I occasionally hear, mostly from
'professionals' who don't really want to be trained in the first
place : (
