We have a big room NICU and use the portable folding screens so mom can breastfeed or pump at baby's bedside. Some have fabric panels. Some have plastic panels. Don't know when they were cleaned last. Need to inquire about that tomorrow.

As for the curtains on ceiling tracks needing to be taken down and cleaned after each baby is moved... do they do that in any ICU: Peds ICU, Med/SurgICU? How about in Emergency where everyone is exposed to absolutely anything? Come to think of it, I don't recall ever seeing ceiling track curtains in a NICU, just in other ICUs. Interesting.
