Don't joke Pat, review of medical records can be legit research! It is
sometimes referred to as audit. The results aren't as conclusive as
double-blind RCTs - but still can be worth doing.
Lisa Amir - who has been reviewing records to see how many smokers she sees
(not many for breastfeeding consults, lots for other consults)- hopefully
will get published as letter to the ed (watch this space).
