i am working with new mom of a 2 -3 day old baby.  She complains of extreme
"sadness" when baby begins to suck.  After MER things are ok.  She experienced
this with 2 or her 3 previous children and continued to nurse each for over 1
year.  Denied any history of depression when I asked.  But then "rembered"
going on Paxil years ago for problems of "anxiety."  (short term use only).
I suggested it may be related to hormonal / oxytocin issuses.  But this way
not of help to her I suspect.  Any better ideas.  Very nice, loving mom.
