As most people now, the TSA regs on transporting breastmilk have changed
and, while it is subject to inspection, getting milk through checkpoints
should not be a problem. I do recommend printing the TSA policy and
carrying it because TSA personnel often do not know their own rules.

Pumping in airports and on airplanes is a different matter. There is no
helpful law and most airlines and airports have no policies concerning this.
I strongly recommend contacting both the airline and the airport to make
arrangements ahead of time. I have heard some very encouraging stories
about airlines allowing women to pump in first class areas in airports
(which are airline, and not airport, controlled). She may have to wing it
but finding a helpful person at the airline or airport to set things up
beforehand is definitely worth a try.

Hope that helps.

Yours,
Jake Marcus, J.D.
