My daughter (a much more computer literate person than i) has told me
that any time you are on the internet ALL of your files are open to
*people who know how* to inspect/download. There may be a way to block
off sections from others while connected to the WWW.

Also, she says that Wordperfect saves everything. (it is a back up in
the computer - not something you do manually). So anything you ever
wrote is there. Even if you *deleted* it. Although i understand that
bringing up a file and (for instance) xxxxing over the entire file and
*saving as* the xxxed version would completely block it from view.

Paranoid ? no really - but it is interesting.
