There is a little, less expensive book available from Childbirth Graphics or Seattle King County Health Department that is quite good. We bought about 10-15 of them when I worked at an inner city hospital to have at the desk of the nursery, Postpartum, NICU, Peds and various clinics. It is small and spiral bound, very easy to use. The BAB is very good of course, but in cases of quick triage, not the first choice. It can be used for phone counseling.. but triage usually involves questions/answers and quick responses.
