After just reading about the Purina kitten chow advertising on Lactnet, last night on CNBC (or one of those news channels) I saw the ad for it. In the ad a mother and her kitten are sitting high on the steps of words that say something to the effect of "protection" and then the kitten runs down the stairs to a break in the stairs and where there is no "protection". They make the comment that when kittens wean they still need antibody protection that they got from their moms, but now the almighty Purina can give them this magical food so they can make it for themselves (well, they don't say that but something to that effect).
Even the ANIMALS are getting targeted, I wonder if there is a WHO code for them??
Sad.
