We are trying to get a grant to cover LC services from a local foundation.  currently the foundation is very focused on prevention of childhood obesity.  anybody have any recent published literature touting the effects of breastfeeding on Childhood obesity?   It sure sounds like a no-brainer to me that optimizing nutritional status early on is the best prevention for obesity, but as many of you know when it comes to breastfeeding we have to PROVE it.    thanks in advance
