Well fellow Lactnetters:

What an uplifting sight to see front page photo in the Sacramento Bee Newspaper
of the Policy Chief for the California Assembly Speaker cuddling her baby with
attached headline :"Nursing mothers get room of their own at the Capitol."
Deborah Gonzalez, policy chief convinced her boss Assembly Speaker Curt Pringle
(R) to designate a room for moms to pump or feed babies. The article goes on to
state that the public can use this nursing room as well! The article quoted in
big bold type one of our wonderful area LC's, Jeanett Burruel, on cost benefits
of BF friendly workplace . I encourage all my fellow Californian lactnetters
to give a call of kudos to Assembly Speaker Pringle's office in his BF
supportive policies. Maybe put in a word for new legislation to support BF in
Calif!!???

Assembly Speaker Pringle: Telephone (916) 445-8377
                        FAX (916) 323-5467
Can someone post this note on the BF advocacy page. I lost my info on how to do
this. TIA
