None of the literature suggests an injection of Progesterone to treat
depression. The homeopath who worked with Marie Osmond states in her
reference section of her book to put 1/2 tsp. Progesterone cream onto the
surface of the skin (inner thigh, arm, leg) daily to treat PPD. The site of
absorption and the dose between these two methods certainly contributes to
its effectiveness. I'm not an expert in pharmacology, so those of you who
are can add your appropriate words for the absorption rate. But, I don't see
any reference for the use of injection of progesterone for the treatment of
depression. So, this method of practice sounds very suspicious to me. Does
the practitioner have a reference for her methodology?
