I have been working on researching reimbursement for
hospital based services and f/u lactation services for
the hospital that I work for in the state of Michigan.
I am learning that in our state insurance carriers do
not recognize our profession with the weak excuse "we
are not licensed in this specialty field."  I am
curious if any other IBCLC's, practicing hospital
based or clinic based, are having any specific billing
